The Primary Health Centre (PHC) Oke-Gada in Ede, Osun State, has recorded a major milestone in primary healthcare delivery with the successful performance of its first emergency Caesarean Section (CS), resulting in the safe delivery of a 3.5-kilogramme baby.

The landmark procedure, described as the first of its kind in the history of primary healthcare delivery in Osun State, was successfully carried out by Dr. Ashafa Musa and his medical team, who ensured the safety of both the mother and her newborn.
